We bought tickets for Hadden's first airplane ride - to Denver in the middle of July. We'll see how he does. His will be the first generation that grows up with domestic airlines lack of service being the norm. Perhaps Hadden will someday recall with fondness the one pack of fake butter flavored pretzels he got on his first airline flight.
Status of skills:
- Smiling continues at a greater pace
- Looking at himself in the mirror and smiling (can babies have "vanity" yet?)
- Hiccuping (all babies manage this one)
- Watching TV - it's bad but if we're in the TV room and he's there he usually turns his head as much as he can to see the TV. Haven't figured out any favorite programming but we're hoping for Hawaii Five-O and ESPN.
Father's day was good all around. First, Yvonne made a coffee cake for breakfast and both Hadden and Yvonne got me shirts. Then, I got to play softball and come home to have a dinner from the barbeque. Despite it being Father's Day, it was still mostly about Hadden. I'm sure Yvonne can attest after her first Mother's Day.
